Change of venue
I've just heard from the management at The Old Queens Head that they are
having to close the venue for an emergency structural work the week of the
gig after pressure from the council.
However, they also own the lovely Albert & Pearl pub which is just up the
road on Upper Street, just 5 minutes walk from The Old Queens Head.
(Previously the Medicine Bar).
It's slightly closer to Highbury & Islington tube station, but still only 10
minutes walk from Angel.
Everything else about the show remains the same. Times, prices etc.
Here are the venue details:
Albert & Pearl, 181 Upper St, Islington, London, N1 1RQ

Instant Pleasure
After spending a 10 days in the heart of the French countryside with a reel-to-reel tape machine, 4 microphones, and litres of wine and cherry beer, playing gigs in town squares and mini golf courses, as well fitting in some recording in an old cottage, we have come up with a name for our new album - ‘Instant Pleasure’. No doubt the inspiration was the result of an evening’s indulgence on a particularly good St Emillion, but even in the cold sober light of day we are happy with the title.
Five new tracks were recorded in France, including ‘Feel no pain’, ‘Maybe then’, ‘Solider boy’, ‘Release me’, and ‘Perdu’.

Happy New Year!
Yes Tinlinites it's the start of another year of mayhem, magic and mystery. We have left 2007 behind, discarded like an unwanted Christmas present but not without happy memories of growth & and change. The gift of 2008 has crept up on us and we are still pulling at the ribbon to see what it brings. We look forward to whatever it holds and will welcome it with open arms (especially if it includes a £5million record deal!) One thing we do know for sure is that there will be more Tinlin gigs for you to enjoy, and in keeping with the 'out with the old, in with the new' tradition our website will be having a face lift ready for a new look at the end of this month. Hope to see you soon :)

Boys on tape
Roll up and join the throng of moist anticipation awaiting the all new 'Tinlin on tape' experience, following our latest recording extravaganza at the infamous Toerag Studios in East London. To date these sessions are nearest we have come to emulating the great recording sessions of the 60's, using big clunky old reel to reel recording machines from Abbey Road studios, that whirled at full capacity, dispelling forth our dulcet tones at great volume. Obviously we've converted it all for the convenience of your CD players, iPods and other fanciful playback gizmos.
